Hoowee™ is a two-sided place. You can arrive and simply watch - every published tale is free to view, no account needed. When you're ready to be on the other side of the pencil, record a tale of your own and we'll animate it.

Watching and submitting are both free. You pay only when you want a tale animated - one payment per tale, no subscription.

Under two and a half minutes, told in your own voice, and true-ish. Tall tales are welcome - outright deception presented as fact is not.

Funny, odd, heartfelt, embarrassing, small: all fair game. Stories that exist only to sell something usually aren't.

Hate speech, harassment, or content that targets people for who they are.

Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything involving minors in an unsafe way.

Threats, doxxing, or private information about someone who didn't agree to be in your tale.

Content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or dangerous stunts.

Material you don't have the rights to - copyrighted music, someone else's recording, or photos you didn't take or license.

If you name, describe, or upload a photo of someone else, you're telling us you have their permission to include them. Be especially careful with children - only upload photos of minors you are the parent or guardian of.

If someone appears in a published tale and wants out, they can write to hello@hoowee.com and we'll take it down while we review.

Your story stays yours. By submitting, you grant Hoowee™ a licence to produce, publish, promote, and distribute an animated version of it across the Hoowee™ platform and our social channels.

We own the animation itself - the artwork, motion, and edit our team creates. You're free to share the finished video anywhere.

You can ask us to unpublish your tale at any time. Copies already shared or downloaded by others are outside our control.

You can attach up to five photos to help our animators get faces, places, and details right. Label them so we know what we're looking at.

Photos are used for production reference and may inform the artwork. They aren't published as-is unless you ask us to.

Every submission is reviewed by a human before production begins. Not every tale gets made - sometimes it's fit, sometimes it's the queue, sometimes it's the rules.

If a tale is declined, you aren't charged and any credit is returned. Repeated or serious violations can end an account.

Viewers see occasional ads between tales, which keeps watching free. Submit as many tales as you like at no cost.

Animation is priced per tale: $29 short, $49 full 2.5 minutes. Typical turnaround for a full video is one day. Packs of three and five are cheaper per tale and the credits never expire.

We collect what we need to run the platform: your email, your recordings, your photos, and your submission history. We don't sell your data.

Your email address is never shown publicly - only your display name appears on a published tale.
